Volunteers needed in Brisbane

Calling all dental assistants in Brisbane area!! Here's a great opportunity to help out those special young people with dental care!

Are you free to volunteer to offer assistance for basic dental services to the homeless youth of Brisbane?

Brisbane Youth Services is an association providing holistic community services to homeless and disadvantaged young people (aged 12 – 25) and their children. The Fortitude Valley Service Hub provides housing assistance for young people to find, health services for physical and mental health needs, financial assistance, storage for personal belongings, mail and phone facilities and visiting services, such as Centrelink and Homeless Persons Legal Clinic.

BYS from October 4th to 7th will be running a mobile dental clinic. Services offered will be check-ups, cleans and basic restorative treatment. Additionally oral health, smoking cessation and referral information will be given to all clients participating in the dental health week.
